How writers can use Social Media to promote themselves and publicise their work

Sarah is an award-winning environmental journalist and editor and has written for The Guardian, Green Futures, New Statesman and The Ecologist. She is a graduate of the world-renowned UEA creative writing MA where she won the David Higham Bursary. She graduated in the top 20% of her class and according to course leader Andrew Cowan had an “exceptional writing portfolio”. In 2013, she won a rarely given special mention in the BBC National Short Story Award and is currently working on edits of her first novel, the story of a young woman whose terminally ill, estranged step-father asks for help getting to a suicide clinic. She has spent the last three years helping to set up and develop the largest social crowdfunding platform in the UK, allowing people to invest in renewable energy and projects for social good. She loves chocolate cake, muddy puddles and dinosaurs.
